Wrist

Today I had my wrist surgery. Strange experience. I'm home now and I have a lot of pain. The only thing that cheers me up right now is the thought of drawing again within a few weeks.

that's horrid :( Not just the pain and the not drawing - but the eating. And washing. And everything else.
I hope it's much better much soon - what I found really hard, too (I had a major knee operation a year and a half ago) was not being able to hold my children properly. And having the small one say "is it THIS one I can't touch?" while poking it, hard.

you look after yourself. (or get someone else to, even better!)

Awww I'm sorry to hear that. Is there any medication you can take for the pain? That must be awful not being able to do what you love. I hope you get better soon!

Thanks All! The pain is nearly gone. Well, in the morning that is, later in the day the pain returns and comes and goes. But it needs rest and I don't give it enough rest maybe.... With Bertus running around it is sometimes difficult. In a reflex I sometimes need to grab him or catch him. And since it is my right hand, the reflexes are a bit painful. But not for long, so I guess it's a good sign.
Thanks again my dear friends!!!
